Description:
Manages the strategic planning and the tactical execution in the design and delivery of project and program management policies and practices. Applies project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage the project and program scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
- Devises programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Develops evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Conducts advanced risk-benefit assessments and consults with management regarding critical ratios.
- Formulates policies and processes that optimize program management processes and drive the continuous improvement of operations.
- Evaluates program risks and produces productivity reports for senior management and internal stakeholders.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the program management field and provides insight for departmental improvements.
- Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
- Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
EXPERIENCE
- Significant & demonstrable experience to deliver complex projects in a multi-cultural, functional, matrix and regional environment.
- Significant and demonstrable experience of leading a virtual team without authority, including internal and external partners
- J&J commercial experience at international and operating company level is an asset
- Understanding of J&J business and business processes is an asset
- Strong track record and upwards potential
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in business or life sciences.
- Additional Post-graduate degree(s) in relevant discipline is an advantage.
- Preferably minimum of 7 years of work experience of which at least 3 years of proven track record of success and experience in Pharmaceutical industry in commercial or commercial-related function e.g. sales and/or marketing and/or market access
- International, European and/or Regional experience is an advantage
- Well-organized and structured
- Strong leadership, also in a virtual environment
- Strong inter-personal and communicative skills
- Able to deal with complexity and ambiguity
- Role model for customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking
- Ability to work cross-region/cross function and develop cross-functional partnerships in a virtual environment
- Demonstrate ability to develop insight, conducting analysis, scenario thinking, decision making and risk management
- Proven track record in strong ability to work closely with internal (and external) stakeholders
- Proven change management experience
- Knowledge of Project/Program and Change Management methodologies is a plus
