Aufgaben

Your main responsibilities relate to warranty management and managing the warranty management team:

  • Ensure warranty management and control,
  • Manage the warranty team in terms of warranty assessment, follow-up and monthly KPI reporting to improve customer satisfaction, warranty management and supplier recovery,
  • Maintain a clear follow-up and feedback between the Warranty Department, Purchasing and Quality Assurance,
  • Inform Management about the financial management of warranty, manage backlog and extended warranty prices,
  • Define a clear budget on warranty cost, extended warranty ROI, supplier recovery,
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure all qualified quality issues related to low sales performance risk and customer/dealer issues are taken care of,
  • Define KPIs to track and follow warranty department performance, risk analysis and corrective action,
  • Collaborate with Field Service Managers, Technical Support Managers, and Sales to define and ensure the Yanmar warranty strategy is in line with customer satisfaction & TCO, ensure correct application of Yanmar rules, terms & conditions,
  • Provide strategy and insights regarding ERP & warranty systems and dependencies.

Qualifikation

  • Engineer or senior technician with a background in Mechanics, building equipment or agricultural equipment,
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warranty management ideally in the automotive products business,
  • Strong software knowledge (Office/Oracle/Sage/DMS),
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English is required, French a plus.
