As a New Graduate Environmental Engineer-in-Training or Scientist – Emergency Response, you will play a meaningful role within our Environmental Group. This position gives candidate the unique experience of working in a matrix business performing work with skilled professionals across North America in a collaborative environment with opportunities for specialization and advancement. The role will be based out of our Vancouver, BC office.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Geological, Chemical or equivalent). Minor in business administration would be an asset
• 0 - 2 years of experience required, co-op experience would be considered a benefit
• Flexible work schedule, ability to work weekends, holidays and nights when required
• Previous experience working in a consulting environment would be an asset
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital to this role in order to effectively express technical information to multiple audiences including subcontractors, field staff, clients, colleagues, etc.
• Work as a team member to exceed client expectations
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• High level of attention to detail, analytical skills along with time management skills to be able to meet deadlines
• Field work will require working long hours, working in inclement weather conditions, and lifting up to 50 lbs, when required
• Willingness and desire to travel, with the ability to work remotely and internationally
• This junior position will be roughly 80% field and 20% office, with the option to occasionally work from home.
