Description:
We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for experienced Vet to join our newly established weekend small animal emergency clinic in Galway City. The clinic is purpose-built and equipped with the latest equipment, ensuring a modern and efficient working environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in small animal practice.
- VCI registration or eligibility to become registered.
- Proficiency in surgeries and sole charge situations.
- Strong surgical skills and experience in emergency and critical care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Work as the sole veterinarian on the weekend shift, alongside a veterinary nurse. 2 weekends a month.
- Perform emergency surgeries and provide immediate medical care to small animals.
- Demonstrate strong surgical skills and the ability to work confidently and independently in a sole charge role.
- Maintain a proactive and confident approach in handling emergency cases.
