About the job…
The Employee & External Master Data team is a team of experts that helps Operations by conducting several activities around People data topics. Activities include implementing People data foundations for data sharing purposes, cataloging people data elements and KPIs and driving people data democratization related activities (Data quality, Data visualization..)

Operation – Accounting and reporting services

  • Work with requestors to gather requirements (data sharing, data foundation..)
  • Identify and define what are required for data analysis
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Perform data cleaning when necessary
  • Analyze, manipulate, and interpret data
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Present technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Act as a consultant for any data foundation, data sharing related topics
  • Provide data mining for process simplification
  • Consult with requestors on needed data elements
  • Maintain a catalog of data foundation data elements
  • Maintain a catalog of all People data KPIs and dashboards
  • Safeguard People data by contributing to defining security concept
  • Contribute to building the required data model
  • Define and maintain People master data catalog
  • Drive Employee and External master data governance activities

About you

Availability:

  • Min 30-40 hours/week
  • Ongoing university studies

Experience:

  • Experience working with large set of data
  • Experience with at least one of the data manipulation tools, such as power query, python, excel, power BI or similar
  • Eager to work with people data related topics

Soft skills:

  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Overall technology savviness
  • Open to learn new tools
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally with an end-to-end mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Requirement gathering skills
  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
  • Attentive to customer needs and feedback
  • Attentive to detail and works with precision
  • Ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent
  • Problem solving, deductive and analytical skills

Technical skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • SQL, Python or any other data related programming language is a plus
  • Previous experience with Snowflake is an advantage

Languages:

  • Fluent in English
