Employee Health - LPN

at  Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System

Plans, coordinates and implements the Employee Health Program; compiles and analyzes employee health-related data and functions as a resource of information to Department Heads, Infection Control, Safety Committee, Quality Assurance, employees and others as appropriate. Reports to the Manager of Employee Health and Director of Human Resource.

Education :

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.

Work Experience :

• Minimum two years of experience in clinical nursing with some experience in teaching and nursing management required; experience in occupational and public health desirable.

Skills Abilities :

• Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize employee’s individual needs based on medical conditions, age, limitations and planned procedures. Requires strong nursing assessment skills; general knowledge of contagious diseases and/or epidemiology related to employee health; good technical skills required by employee testing and immunizations; good oral and written communication skills; good judgment in implementing employee health-related policies and procedures. Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.

License & Cert :

• Licensed Practical Nurse Current Mississippi LPN license and BLS TB Certified
