THE OPPORTUNITY

During an employee’s first few weeks, we are committed to ensuring they have all the information and support they need to feel like a part of our team, and this role is key to ensuring both our nursing and support services staff flourish in their new positions.

Reporting to our supportive General Manager and working closely with our dynamic People & Culture and Talent teams, the role plays in integral part in onboarding new employees and creating and updating induction processes, while working to develop & implement strategies that will help ease the transition for new employees into the workplace.

  • Coordinating employee start dates
  • Implementing and driving Inductions & onboarding processes
  • Ensure employees needs are met during the onboarding process
  • Providing hospital tours and introducing new starters to their team
  • Seeking feedback from new starters in order to drive continuous process improvements
  • Working closely with Managers to support and ensure they are having regular checkpoints with new starters

The role is a 12 month, fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, but we would also love to hear from recent HR graduates, administrators, customer service reps or experienced healthcare professionals that may be looking for a step change, or are simply passionate about the healthcare industry and the community in which we operate.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with new employees and foster a positive onboarding experience
  • A willingness to look for better way to do things to improve the onboarding experience
  • An ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels

  • An ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
