Description:

Represent the organization in labor relations, which includes negotiating, interpreting, and overseeing bargaining agreements, monitoring compliance with agreements, managing grievance procedures, participating in arbitrations, and developing and maintaining connections with the union.

  • Leads and coordinates company committees with their respective unions. Follow up on outstanding points and escalate any instances that warrant it.
  • Investigate and resolve employee and union grievances and conflicts.
  • Represent management in union/labor relations, which includes negotiating, interpreting, and executing collective bargaining agreements.
  • Monitor compliance with agreements, manage grievance procedures, and participate in arbitrations.
  • Responsible for progressive discipline, ensuring that departmental managers and night shift supervisors follow corporate policies and procedures, internal legislation, and the Collective Convention.
  • Assist employees with challenges ensuring compliance with country labor laws as well as DHL regulations and policies.
  • Follow up on employee employment contracts and necessary addendums for operational shifts.
  • Any additional function related to your employment.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, law, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in equivalent positions
Experienced in union management, conflict resolution, and negotiation, with intermediate to advanced English skills.
