WHAT TO EXPECT?
This Employee Relations Specialist role will be an addition to our European People team. We are looking for a strategic and operationally-savvy HR partner who can quickly build trust and serve as an advisor to our Global leaders across functions (Sales, Marketing, Product Development and G&A teams) on all European employee relations related topics. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships between our company and its employees. In this position, you will be expected to develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures, handle grievances, and provide guidance and support to managers and employees. Your role will be critical in ensuring an engaged workforce. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a positive work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace- related issues, concerns or conflict.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and team leaders on employee relations matters, including performance management and conflict resolution.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs to improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
- Develop the skills of our People Managers through training and development in European employee related matters including diversity, inclusion, communication and conflict resolution.
- Act as a mediator or facilitator in resolving disputes or conflicts..
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the People Teams to contribute and shape team projects.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues
- Manage employee discipline and performance improvement processes
- Partner with the People team and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the People Partner Lead in Europe.
