EMPLOYEES FOR THE CARE OF UNACCOMPANIED MINOR FOREIGNERS (UMA)

In cooperation with the Oberhausen Youth Welfare Office, Friedensdorf International looks after unaccompanied minor foreigners (UMA) in a separate living area. These predominantly young people, who enter the Federal Republic of Germany from crisis areas around the world without legal guardians or legal guardians and who have not yet reached the age of 18 when entering the country, are cared for by various providers in cooperation with the Peace Village. Different nations, cultures, languages and religions come together every day when we live together.
We are now looking for committed employees to look after and support unaccompanied minor refugees in their everyday lives.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Completed training in the nursing or pedagogical field, such as educator, family carer, childcare worker, special education nurse, nursing assistant, social assistant or care assistant
• Enjoyment in dealing with young people and sensitivity to the different cultural backgrounds of young people
• Ability to work in a team, empathy, commitment, flexibility and a structured way of working
• Curiosity and desire to work in a multicultural learning field as well as peace education
• Driving license class B

• Everyday care for unaccompanied minor refugees
• Accompaniment at official appointments
• Participate in team meetings and shift handovers
• Creation of documentation and reports
