JOB DESCRIPTION

The Employer Brand Lead is responsible for communicating the employee value proposition for Nine, through communication & marketing activity, with a focus on external audiences.

The role will work closely with the Head of Employer Brand & Experience to drive Nine’s employer brand activity across both group-level brand and multiple talent segments. Core to the role is articulation of Nine’s EVP through brand activity, social media content planning, and management of campaign activity, key partnerships and channels. The role works directly with Talent Acquisition & business stakeholders on designing activity that will positively impact hiring outcomes (eg: volume, time to fill, quality of hire etc). This role is supported by the Content & Design Specialist to develop relevant content for Nine’s employer brand needs.

  • Deliver employer branding activity for the business, both with a group-level lens and a divisional/talent segment focus including recruitment marketing activity (organic and paid campaigns)
  • Develop the employer brand content plan for the business
  • Maintain and update Nine’s careers website
  • Develop and deploy external brand narrative in market and consider appropriate forums/channels to advocate the employer brand
  • Report on brand and campaign success through the recruitment funnel to inform business decisions on hiring, determine ROI of activity and inform future tactics
  • Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to ensure Nine’s employer brand accurately reflects the internal experience whilst marrying up with external talent expectations to positively shape their perceptions
  • Conduct relevant benchmarking exercises and playback external market perception of Nine’s brand as an employer
  • Prepare reporting and recommendations from various data sources (including careers site, LI data, job ad performance etc) and provide information on external candidate market behaviour, and competitor insights (through both industry and talent lenses)
  • Develop and deliver employee advocacy or other relevant programs when required
  • Support the design and development of internal communications for Employee Experience activities within the business at times
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to build their employer brand capability
  • Work in partnership with external partners, channels and suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Social media marketing (including campaign development & management) knowledge
  • Experience using one or more of the major social media/search engine marketing platforms (Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, Google)
  • Social media content planning and development experience
  • Coaching others and building their capability
  • Influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Autonomous and self-driven
  • Proactivity and high initiative
  • Data and analytical mindset

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition processes and systems (ATS)
  • Previous experience in Employer Brand/Marketing, talent campaign management and candidate channel advertising platforms
  • Previous experience in marketing, campaign management and social advertising platforms
  • Experience updating content on websites
  • Previous exposure to Talent Acquisition teams & processes
