MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree; three or more years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Policy or related work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong demonstrated research and legal interpretative abilities such as Paralegal certificate and/or experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from both legal and Company information
  • Ability to gather data, conduct analysis, compile information and prepare accurate documentation with consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and internal/external customer groups
  • Ability to independently work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining flexibility as needed
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities:

  • Research, monitor, analyze and track new and pending changes in federal, state, and local laws and regulatory changes in conjunction with the P&C and legal teams to ensure policy and procedures are compliant.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of Employment Policies and procedures; evaluate and advise on potential compliance issues related to current policies.
  • Gather, review and identify opportunities to harmonize Employee Policies across the Company
  • Maintain designated P&C information repositories for current and historical records and document regulatory compliance reviewed/results for legal team reference.
  • Post communications notices on inter-departmental communication channel(s) and respond to HR Policy Inbox requests, escalating as necessary.
  • Conduct reporting, auditing and analysis of employee data to support P&C team project initiatives.
  • Perform work on other P&C projects or tasks as directed.
