PART-TIME ENDOCRINOLOGIST PA OR NP

Community Medical & Dental Care Inc. is currently looking for a part-time endocrinologist PA or NP to join our team. As an endocrinologist PA or NP, you will have the opportunity to provide care to patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, hormone imbalances, and Infertility.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A master’s degree in physician assistant studies or nursing from an accredited program.
  • Must have an Active NY stat License
  • Be Board Certified
  • NY state Medicaid ID Number
  • Experience in endocrinology or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with medical software and equipment.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, examine, and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, urine tests, and imaging tests.
  • Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and give advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
  • Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and update patient records.
  • Support patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions and their loved ones.
  • Conduct research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques.
  • Remain up-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology.
  • Handle basic administrative, clerical, and business tasks, such as filing, answering phones, or data entry.
