Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Energy Engineer will work on the identification, conceptual engineering and analysis of energy efficiency projects in large industrial sites. The Energy Engineer will support Project Managers and Directors to deliver projects through technical support, whilst contributing to Cotopaxi’s best practice.

YOUR OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL FOCUS ON…

  • Conducting historical utility billing reviews and facility benchmarking analysis
  • Aiding the development and implementation of Site Measurement Plans and deploy Metering
  • Perform concept and schematic design and calculations for EEMs, review drawings, specifications, bill of quantities and sequences of operation
  • Focus areas will include metering and monitoring of utilities, the utility conversion process, industrial boilers, steam systems, compressed air, power generation, CHP, heat recovery, water recycling, HVAC, refrigeration and renewable technologies

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

  • Be qualified by experience, or will hold a degree in an Engineering or Science based field
  • Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times

  • Be client focussed and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident in using Microsoft Office packages, such as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
