Hull City Council is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Enforcement Officers to join the Council’s Private Housing Environmental Health Team.
Posts available
2 x full time fixed term Enforcement Officers
The posts will include carrying out inspections, scoring hazards under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System, preparing schedules of works, giving advice, serving statutory notices, issuing HMO licenses and under taking prosecutions.
Previous experience in Private Housing would be desirable but not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including negotiation and presentation are essential. A working knowledge of housing construction techniques and identifying defects is also essential.
