Description:

Our Leasehold Enfranchisement team are one of only a handful in the South East with a dedicated team offering assistance in this complex area of law.
The Leasehold Enfranchisement team specialise in the following technical areas: lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, rights of first refusal (s.5 notices), right to manage, applications to the tribunal to vary leases and advice in relation to leases generally.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enfranchisement Paralegal to join the team in our Lewes office.

What you will be doing:

  • to support on a wide range of leasehold enfranchisement work, including completion of initial contract packs, drafting sale contracts, notices and TR1 forms for a range of clients.
  • attending client meetings and dealing with legal reporting work
  • dealing with progress enquiries throughout from clients and conducting exchanges of contracts and completions of property transactions

What you will need:

  • previous Paralegal experience in a Commercial Property, Residential Property or Property Litigation role
  • a working knowledge of Enfranchisement
  • experience of contract packs, drafting sale contracts, notices and TR1 forms
  • a high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a demanding environment
  • excellent organisational and prioritising skills
  • the ability to work in a busy team
  • excellent communication skills
