Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions creation, or assembly manuals
  • Multi skilled with other function within work area
  • Knowledgeable in Engineering Tools: Proficient on the CORE analytical tools & techniques required for the job, Lean Application, QC Tools, FMEA and Teamcenter
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system.
  • Understanding of materials & tolerances of components and assemblies.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year.
  • Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan.
  • With at least a year in his/her current position.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

  • Good teamwork & can work with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Communication, English (both oral & written) and Presentation Skills
  • Willing to render extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze engineering change packages (Engineering Change Notice, Drawings,.etc) and provide engineering disposition for accuracy and correct product configuration.
  • Support engineering, purchasing and manufacturing in defining and resolving configuration control issues
  • Creation of process documents and desktop procedure
  • Collaborate with other Engineering Team & other cross functional areas to implement changes.
  • Create and Implement process improvement
  • Evaluate the impact of the design change in the product and on the production.
  • Assess implementation of new customer head of versions within the production environment
  • Ensures that the product is delivered on time and in full conformance with the approved engineering data.
  • Ensures that the data provided on the ECN is in compliance with the design, the configuration and requirements of the customer.
  • Coordinates the impact of the changes to the production line and
  • discusses possible effects on the production and on the shipment of the product.
  • Discusses the effect of the changes to the management and decides when to implement the change.
  • Provides assistance to the queries of the different departments in lieu with the engineering designs, dispositions, implementations and related documents.
  • Analyze design impact thru Team Centre, JDE Systems, JIRA, IQMS
