About the role: - We are looking for experienced and passionate professionals to help us achieve our ambitious mission leading the Medical Operations Team in adopting and championing evolving technology to improve the efficiency of reviewing/ approving/ documenting medical and commercial activities and events. - - The role reports directly into the Strategic Operations Support Lead and will work closely with all therapeutic areas cross functionally. - Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in related field

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Medical Operations Team in adopting and championing evolving technology to improve the efficiency of reviewing/ approving/ documenting medical and commercial activities and events. These events include but are not limited to Advisory Boards, Consultancies, Medical Congress, Speaker Programs, Training, Sponsorships, Preceptorship, and Collaboration Agreements
- Lead a team of associates and contractual specialists to ensure achievement of organizational targets in terms of external events management with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
- Lead a team of associates and contractual specialists to train the Novartis associates on the proper use of the HCP interaction platforms, including onboarding of new associates on the platform
- Responsible for continuous processes and systems improvement and/ or implementation that support the generation, approval, execution and documentation of HCP engagement and payment process via interaction portals or equivalent
- Accountable for the development and implementation of working procedures aligned with the IMC Code of ethical practices, local and global Novartis guidelines and policies.
- Accountable for the overall end-user training on working procedures for medical and commercial activities/events
- Align local and global internal stakeholders on daily issues requiring specific expertise (e.g. ERC ethics risk and compliance, legal, accounting, medical governance) to ensure continuous and robust compliance
- Provide reports on activities and HCPs when requested by the medical or commercial teams and also pro-actively at the end of each quarter to summarize the total expenditures and activity profiles for each Therapeutic Area
