The Engagement Coordinator - Disability is key to our team being able to support people with disabilities to find suitable and quality housing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in a permanent role that makes a real difference? We are seeking a dynamic Engagement Coordinator who will be responsible for developing a strategy, building a plan, and connecting with young people in residential aged care (YPIRAC), as well as their supporters and other stakeholders, including those in residential aged care, with the aim of generating referrals to the Aged Care to Home service provision team.
We are looking for someone adept at building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should be tenacious and resilient, continuing to push for a positive result. Your exceptional communication skills should be backed up with strong administration and referral generation experience.
Employment Type: Fixed term contract to 27 June 2025, full time or agreed part-time. Located in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE WE KEEN FOR YOU TO HAVE?

  • Community engagement or marketing qualifications
  • Extensive community engagement experience including networking and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing or engagement plans that get results
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team based in different geographical locations
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Confident public speaker

REQUIREMENTS

Employment is subject to National Police Check or NDIS Workers Screening Check

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a plan to engage with target audiences, including YPIRAC, their informal supporters, their formal supports, aged care facilities and professional/government stakeholders to be able to gain support to help YPIRAC living in RAC to exit
  • Work with the Communications team on the development of digital assets and channel planning including website landing pages, tools, collateral and promotion
  • Meet weekly KPIs for engagement activity, with a focus on referrals and conversion
  • Collect data and report regularly
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including formal supports, aged care facilities and professional/government stakeholders
