• Previous experience supporting community committees and internal stakeholders
• A tertiary qualification in Event Management, Marketing or a related discipline and/or appropriate professional experience.

THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Engagement Events Lead is responsible for scoping, planning, designing and delivering internal events for the Council.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to creative design of events to support the Purpose and Ambition
• Use resources efficiently and ensure the events are organised within the allocated budget
• Develop and implement strategies to attract participation
• Work collaboratively and build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation
• Ensure that Council’s brand and reputation is promoted and displayed with integrity at our events
• Prepare and implement a risk management plans in line with Council’s Risk Management Framework
• Carry out other duties as required by Coordinator or Manager
