Engagement Officer

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

This post is based within the Engagement Department which delivers a wide range of site activities for educational and general groups making best use of the CAT site. Working with the Head of Eco Centre and the Head of Learning & Education, the primary aim of the role is to support the booking process for groups and to work with the team on the development and delivery of site tours, activities and programmes.
The expectation is that this would normally be a site-based role with some home working by agreement.
This post is subject a DBS check.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Comply with the CAT data protection, safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
• Use or work towards using, written and spoken Welsh when liaising with customers.
• Comply with the CAT’s Health & Safety Policy and assist in the production and implementation of relevant risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Carry out other duties commensurate with the post.
