Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of air compressors, valves, heat exchangers and turbomachinery.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Experience in using SAP.
  • Sound communication skills to effectively liaise with peers and personnel from different departments.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, PowerPoint & Word.

Responsibilities:

At our Dubai MRO Center we are specialists in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components. As part of our planned continued expansion, we require an experienced individual who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with customers. An opportunity has arisen for an Engineer role to support the Air Management Systems cell at the MRO Campus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads new capability addition for components at the Dubai MRO.
  • Creation of work packs and Standard Work Combination sheets to support the maintenance and overhaul of AMS products and systems.
  • Completes change reviews of Technical Publications.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
  • Provides alternatives for consumables and completes tooling equivalencies.
  • Supports Calibration of Tooling.
  • Leads troubleshooting of complex test equipment.
  • Partners and engages with operations / quality teams to facilitate and drive robust RCCA to reduce Escapes/COPQ/Customer Disruptions and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participates and or drives continuous improvement initiatives/activities.
  • Other activities as assigned.
