Responsibilities:

As the Engineering & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a large manufacturing facility. This includes management of facilities, equipment, processes, and products, and optimisation of processes while implementing continuous improvement programs to maximise productivity, exceed product quality requirements, and ensure a safe operating environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Transformation and continuous improvement of new and existing manufacturing processes, ensuring introduction of reliable and efficient systems that can exceed operational and quality targets
  • Prepare, present and manage the relevant CAPEX/OPEX Engineering budget. Review of new product and part drawings to assess suitability inside the production environment Facilitation of NPI related activities into the manufacturing facility
  • End-to-end facilities management including conducting site risk assessments, obtaining quotes from contractors and ownership of the preventative maintenance schedule
  • Design, draw and coordinate the manufacturing of small jigs and fixtures required for use by the facility with both internal and external suppliers
  • Manage and coach the ANZ Production Engineering team to further develop engineering capabilities to ensure desired outcomes and targets are achieved
