Description:

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the drinking water machine industry.
  • Proven record of independently designing the entire machine and its components
  • Have unique insights into platform based and modular design of products, and proficiently apply drawing software such as CREO and CAD
  • Familiar with product reliability design requirements and production process related processes

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop drinking water appliance technologies that meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the appliances are designed for manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability.
  • Organise and conduct testing and validation of the machines to ensure that they meet performance and safety standards.
  • Manage and oversee various stages of new product development, assisting the Global R&D teams in product mold development, trial production, certification, and mass production, and resolving technical problems that arise during the process.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that components and materials meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that impact drinking water machine design and development.
