ABOUT THE ROLE

Mott MacDonald is looking for a Highways Engineer to support multiple built environment and transport projects across the Unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ARE LISTED, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE BELOW:

• Under supervision of a Senior Highway Engineer, produce detail highway/road designs for various developments and highways projects in the GCC
• Manage draftsmen to produce drawings to standards
• Aid the Senior Highway Engineer in managing the resources to deliver the agreed outcomes for the project
• Help prepare designs, reports, specifications and other deliverables for highways schemes
• Monitor the designs produced to ensure they meet the design briefs
• Ensure designs are appropriate and meet the expected levels of technical excellence
• Help to chase the local authorities for the issuance of NOCs; resolve any issues identified by the authorities
• Seek innovation in the delivery of schemes and techniques used to design and construct them
• Ensure that the quality system is applied to all highways schemes
