By joining us as an Engineer I, Technical Support Order Engineering , you will be responsible for validating orders for accuracy and completeness of information and assisting the Technical Sales and Engineering Teams in the evaluation of special construction and bill of material requests.
In this capacity, you will evaluate the basic engineering specification, compare the application with industry standards, and escalate to whom should be directed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • To check for the completeness and correctness of customer documents (e.g., purchase orders, transaction screening forms, approvals, and sizing sheets) for Tier 0 orders for specific sites.
  • To enter data/orders (trade, intercompany, and no charge)/items into Business System tools and send Customer Order Acknowledgement.
  • To check documentation (e.g., drawings, Engineering Master, manuals, and bulletins) and forward modification requests to the appropriate group.
  • To submit requests for the creation of new parts and finished good numbers.
  • To review the accuracy of newly created parts or finished good numbers and endorse corrections or updates as needed.
  • To identify continuous improvement project ideas and/or participate in projects related to process and quality improvement.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Process Controls, or related courses.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in Sales or Customer Service.
  • Basic knowledge of Office365 applications.
  • Good English communication skills.
