Freese and Nichols has great entry-level Engineer I opportunities in our Water/Wastewater Master Planning group for recent grads and May/August 24 new grads to launch their professional careers! These opportunities are available in our Fort Worth, TX office.
In this role, you will aid municipalities and utilities in enhancing their existing infrastructure for future needs. Through various planning activities and analyses, we provide comprehensive planning services that provide solutions and roadmaps for capital improvements, hydraulic modeling, operational assessments, and business/financial process improvements.
Freese and Nichols offers a flexible work environment which includes options such as a hybrid work schedule with remote work up to 2 days per week and an alternative work schedule with every other Friday off.

Majors we hire:

  • Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering
  • Biological and Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering
  • Other related engineering majors

Responsibilities:

  • Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations
  • Collect, adjust, and correlate data and recognize discrepancies in results
  • Perform project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines
  • Responsible for coordination of project efforts contributed by technicians and/or drafting personnel working on the same project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in major from list above (Current grad or those graduating in May or August 2024)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship
  • Participation in a student organization such as a professional or technical society
