SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Works under the direction of Leak Detection subject matter experts and Project Managers.
  • Performs statistical analysis of large data sets.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks on leak detection models which includes reviews of alarms, displays, overrides, model diagnostics, and data files.
  • Performs datapath commissioning.
  • Performs updates to model configurations.
  • Creates/reviews/updates documention.
  • Support the Development and updating rollout plans.
  • Creates/updates procedures and training materials.
  • Provides forecasts for work tasks, and provides progress updates.
  • Actively participates in the Enbridge safety culture.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • EIT or University Business degree Graduate and 1-2 years’ experience OR an equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
  • Ability to think analytically and perform detailed analysis on large sets of data.
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects with defined timelines.
  • Knowledge in pipeline Hydraulics and computer programming experience, is a definite assett.
  • Knowledge or experience using real-time transient model software and/or statistical modeling software
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
