Engineer (Industrial Engineering/Warehouse Automation System; AWS + VB)

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Automation or any other related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in industrial engineering, preferably in warehouse or distribution centre setting.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Prior hands-on experience in modelling/simulation tool is desirable.
• Experience with time studies, methods/work study and/or other performance analysis methodologies.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, analytical mindset and skills, and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders from different hierarchy levels with the ability to drive achievement of objectives.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.Candidate must be comfortable with rotating shift work.

• Analyse, improve the process and systems within the supply chain, in a way that fosters collaboration, communication and continuous improvement to optimize the entire supply chain process.
• To articulate practical recommendations for business requirements and demonstrating an ability to address pain points & issues.
• Engage and partner with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects to ensure successful implementations by understanding stakeholders’ requirements and vendor capabilities.
• Utilise industrial engineering principles to develop and implement best practices for warehouse operations optimisation.
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the warehouse processes.
• Utilise data analysis tools and software to generate reports, analyse trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process optimisation.
• Provide training and support to operations on new processes, equipment and technologies to ensure successful implementation.Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
