Our Marine Electrical Systems business provides innovative state-of-the-art system solutions for technical demanding requirements focusing on naval ships, yachts and special vessels of all types. As a competent partner for ship owners and shipyards worldwide Marine Electrical Systems assumes overall responsibility for complex systems projects.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WILL INCLUDE:

  • Coordination and support of international customer projects in regards of Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS)
  • Execution of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Lifecycle Costing calculation (LCC) and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) analysis/calculation
  • Calculation of LSA/ILS/LCC KPIs based on design documents and validation against customer requirements
  • Determine and optimize maintenance-, repair- and overhaul tasks to reach specified ILS/LSA/LCC targets
  • Creation, administration and update of LSA Databases
  • Research of information from different sources (Purchasing, Production, Design etc.) and ensuring consistency between data from different sources
  • Support of the department manager with creating offers
  • Cooperation with and coordination of industrial partners and sub contractors
  • Direct communication with the customers (mainly shipyards) and the military end customers on your own responsibilitySecuring the delivery of contractual items in regards to quality and time frame
