SUMMARY:

OnePointe Solutions is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing cutting-edge products and processes. In this role, you’ll oversee the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Navigate changing priorities and market conditions in the manufacturing industry effectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Proven experience 5 years in engineering management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in laboratory casework.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to sit or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Outdoor production shop environment / some office work environment
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of engineering processes into manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and objectives.
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to support the procurement of materials, components, and services.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex engineering issues and challenges encountered during manufacturing operations.
  • Implement best practices for risk management, safety protocols, and quality assurance to minimize potential hazards and ensure product reliability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging practices in manufacturing engineering to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
