Our client, REPTEC Limited, has a new opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join their well-established and expert team. As a family owned and operated small business, you can be guaranteed a position where you will gain plenty of variety in your day, which will not be restricted to the workshop. Getting out in the field, always having the opportunity to do work that is out of the box, means you will always be learning.
Offering 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, this role would suit someone who is an experienced engineer, with the understanding that this specialised custom work you will pick up on the job. Experience with hydraulics would be a bonus, but a willingness to learn is key. The ‘number 8 wire’ bush mechanics attitude to solving problems is essential as REPTEC specialise in dairy sheds, irrigation, ag machinery and more. No two jobs are the same, repairs and maintenance will be varied, and we are sure you will find some enjoyment in the challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Completing repairs and maintenance on agricultural machinery, including but not limited to JCB’s, tractors, feed-out wagons and agricultural equipment
- Hydraulic work, including replacement, and making of hydraulic hoses and working on rams
- Stainless, Aluminium, Arc, Mig and Tig welding
- Diagnostics, working with customers offsite troubleshooting engineering issues
