As we continue to expand our aftermarket activities, we are seeking talented persons to join our dynamic team. Our aftermarket team are involved in projects collaborating with all Vard entities and with external partners as a stand-alone service provider. The span is wide from single consultant activities to supporting in delivery of larger conversion projects. Vard Design vessels are located all around the globe, this team is serving them all. As a member of the aftermarket team you will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing maintenance, conversion, and optimization of vessels, their systems and installed equipment. Leveraging your technical expertise and maritime industry knowledge, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our customers receive world-class support throughout the lifecycle of their vessels.

ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We are looking for technical coordinators with good communication and coordination skills. The successful candidate will act as engineering project manager, with unique possibilities to work with projects from concept development to final product delivered from quayside.
QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL QUALITIES
MSc or BSc degree or equivalent in relevant discipline, Ship Design, Marine Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Renewable energy
- Maritime industry interest

- Good communications skills and the ability to work well in teams
- Good knowledge of English language, both oral and written
- Experience in alteration of ships is an advantage
- Knowledge of DNV class guideline for conversions (CG-0156)
Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for aftermarket projects, including upgrades, retrofits, and modifications to existing vessels.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of ship, the ships systems or installed third party equipment.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in aftermarket segment.
- Prepare detailed engineering specifications, drawings, and documentation for aftermarket projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maritime industry standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform aftermarket strategies and identify opportunities for solution differentiation and market expansion.
