Engineer Software Design

We are looking for a new team member to be an important part of our multi-disciplined Research and Development Team.
Interwell is an international service company providing world class and proprietary technologies throughout the lifecycle of a well - from construction to production optimization and right through to plug and abandonment. The R&D department delivers tailor-made products, concepts, and solutions based on technology and market-driven needs to our customers spread around the globe. As a s software design engineer you will contribute to the development and documentation of firmware, from design to delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc Engineering in Electronics or Software
• Min. 3 years relevant experience
• Fluent English – oral and written

• Participate in, lead and conduct development projects related to downhole electronic products.
• High temperature electronics development of simulations, Software, Firmware and system level design.
• Assemble, test, execute qualification and documentation of prototypes in mechanical/electronic workshop
• Prepare technical documentation related to software
• Follow-up and maintenance of existing electronic products.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers with regards to purchase, operation and development projects.
• Liaise with both external and internal Clients, presenting software capabilities of a product and discussing requirements.
• 3rd line Product Support for all departments.
• Develop systems for testing, verification and qualification of equipment and products.
• Prepare procedures and QA documents related to relevant products.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and personal commitment to Interwell policies.
