Spire Little Aston Hospital are looking for an Engineering Administrator to join our Engineering/ Health and Safety team.
This is an excellent role for someone with an administrative background to join our team here at Little Aston. You will work with the Engineering Manager to support the maintenance of the hospital, its equipment and systems. Utilising our in-house system to ensure all planned maintenance and breakdowns are rectified and recorded. Request, raise and reconcile all engineering purchase orders.
This is a part time role (15 hours per week) working across 2 days – the days of work will vary between Monday - Friday and will be dictated by business needs, so flexibility will be required..

Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to the Engineering and Health and Safety departments
  • Request, raise and reconcile all engineering purchase orders on SAP.
  • Assist Engineering Manager with all non-bio-medical hospital assets from CMMS (Pirana) ensure they are kept up to date with regular servicing & compliance documentation.
  • Ensure effective planning of all weekly, quarterly and annual PPM’s and disseminate to hospital engineers and contractors.
  • Manage internal and external communications such as e-mails and telephone calls as required.
  • Prepare reports and documentation and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure all hospital staff utilise in-house systems to report breakdowns and engineer requests, then prioritise request/jobs amongst engineers.
