Due to the growth and expansion of our business we are looking for additional resource to join our fantastic engineering teams in east and south east London. These positions are a key support in the Engineering teams, advocating an effective service for our manages and the wider business alike and it is a big business too with nearly 5,000 employees and approximately 1500 vehicles.

We are looking for someone to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • creating and producing planned vehicle services, together with maintaining historical maintenance data,
  • preparing MOT and safety service job cards, defect reports and updating reports and job cards as appropriate,
  • inputs into our engineering management system (EAMS),creating weekly and daily reports as required, as well as coding and inputting unplanned repairs, driver
  • ‘s defects, breakdowns and changeovers in relation to our vehicle fleet,
  • recording information relating to the pay of engineering employees and completing records of miscellaneous mileage and fuel,
  • maintaining engineering employee records, holiday applications, accident reports and PPE records and ad-hoc administrative requests,
  • covering for our vehicle stores in the absence of the post-holder,
  • preparing and collating Health and Safety documentation.

It would be desirable that you have experience within an administrative remit, preferably within an engineering field and, are confident with compiling and collating spreadsheet data, reports and trackers and are able to use Microsoft office packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Aside from the opportunity to delve into the above, we can offer £27,726.73 per annum for a 40 hour week. Due to the nature of this role it is workplace based and hybrid working is not possible.
