JOB SUMMARY:

The Casual Engineering and Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring product quality and integrity by conducting thorough inspections and analyses. This role combines engineering tasks such as packaging analysis and coordinating mould reviews with quality control duties, including sample inspections and handling consumer complaints. The Coordinator will also perform administrative tasks as needed to support the Engineering and Quality departments.

REQUIRED (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED, LANGUAGE SKILLS, ETC):

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in quality control or a related field; experience in engineering is a plus.

• Experience in SAP and Google Suite

• Obtain product samples designated for inspection according to the order schedule.

• Execute preliminary inspections, precisely capturing images in adherence to established training protocols.

• Thoroughly document inspection results, integrating photographic evidence into comprehensive inspection reports, and pinpoint any non-conformities or defects.
• Retrieve and photographically document retained samples from the green room as delineated in the complaint registry, synthesising feedback based on analytical findings.
• Accurately label inspected cases and methodically organise them in the specified green room area for subsequent retention and reference.
• Procure consumer complaint returned samples and associated administrative documentation.
• Analyse returned samples in the context of the associated complaint, creating feedback.
• Oversee the implementation of comprehensive mould management protocols, including the development of detailed mould inspection checklists.
• Conduct thorough packaging analysis, recording appropriate data to verify adherence to quality specifications.
• Provide support in the coordination and administration of engineering and quality projects and process enhancements.
• Guarantee that all documentation of all inspections, analyses, and remedial actions taken is accurately completed, updated, and systematically archived.
• Contribute to the development of reports and presentations intended for management’s evaluation and decision-making processes.
