JOB SUMMARY

The Engineering Change Analyst provides the overall support to Configuration Management infrastructure and ensures proper product data creation, version/revision and change management. The Engineering Change Analyst reporting to the Configuration Manager and support all aspects of Master Data and Change management. Support with creation activities pertaining to Design. This role will also be responsible to support CM to manage and process Engineering Change (DCN/ECN) through the entire organization.
Work Location: In-office environment that is currently 3 days per week
City: Surrey

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience with PLM/ERP tools.
  • Experience with Parts and BOMs creation and Change management.
  • Understanding FFF
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience managing complex Design changes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software development and manufacturing processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Two (2) years’ minimum experience as a Change Analyst in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with PLM/ERP tools
  • Familiar with Configuration Management II principles
    Compensation: $65,000 - $72,000
    This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, relevant education and training, competencies, experience, geographic location, and business needs. Base pay is only one component of the total compensation package and is subject to change, which may be modified in the futur

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will (but not limited to):

  • Create, manage and maintain product master data
  • Identify and coordinate the daily management of configuration items, Including creation of Parts and BOMs
  • Organize and control engineering design changes.
  • Create and/or support the processing and Implementation of the Design changes.
  • Follow version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed
  • Perform Impact analysis, review and manage the design change
  • Ensure that approvers are assigned and aligned with the requirements of change type and that proper controls are exercised to ensure items are scrutinized for data accuracy
  • Create, manage and maintain master database
  • Interface with all cross functional disciplines and various business partners to align and communicate Design Change Requests and notifications
