CLERK, ENGINEERING

Performs moderately complex clerical functions involving all aspects of the engineering department’s documentation. Includes creating, sorting, matching, filing, classifying, consolidating, and summarizing of paper, electronic and microfilm records according to specific instructions. Works with commercial and company software packages to create and maintain engineering controlled information. Maintains records, stores, disperses, and authorizes purchases of office supplies. Performs the set-up and production steps to produce instructional plates. Sets up and maintains records, logs, and files. Operates, preforms simple maintenance on, and schedules service for office and printing equipment. Creates, maintains, and prints engineering department documents. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to set priorities and work with minimal supervision.
• Clerical experience and/or training
• Ability to follow specific instruction in both written and verbal form.
• Ability to work with numbers and maintain concentration with repetition and high accuracy
• Computer skills including MS products such as Windows, Office, Outlook, and Adobe Professional

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of In-Design software
