Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a student position. Responsibilities may include:
- Working on EC Windows Servers, Web and Database teams to support EC Design Enablement environment.
Providing operational support to EC Design customers (incidents, service requests).
Assisting with execution of various technical global projects- Data analysis to drive optimization of the support model and/or process improvements.
Troubleshoot technical issues (Windows Server, MSSQL and MySql databases, IIS and Apache web hosting, Hyper-v Virtualization, Storage…).
- Writing documentation (step by step instructions, flow diagrams…).
Behavioral traits desired:
- Passion for Learning and Information Technology in general.
Interest in working in a highly dynamic HPC environment ensuring stability, availability and security of Windows Server infrastructure.
Understands and follows written or verbal instructions and procedures- Customer service skills related to providing ticket support.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum qualifications
- Must be pursuing a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Advanced English level.
Preferred qualifications
- System and/or Windows Server Administration experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center tools (SCOM, SCCM, Orchestrator, Virtual Machine Manager, PowerShell…).
- Automation and PowerShell experience.
Responsibilities:
- Working on EC Windows Servers, Web and Database teams to support EC Design Enablement environment.
