Description:
Ground Recruitment is a Pty Ltd company established in July 2022. It exclusively provides highly specialised permanent recruitment services and high-performance coaching to geotechnical engineers, geologists and select clients across Australia and New Zealand.
This client is a privately owned medium-sized engineering consultancy specialising in mining services across numerous countries. They have 16 offices globally, two in Australia, Brisbane and Perth.
Brisbane’s scope of work in some of Queensland most significant mining projects includes scoping and feasibility studies, facility design, construction monitoring, operations and closure planning.
Even though this client is well-known worldwide for their expertise in dam safety and tailings management practises, the Brisbane office has a varied mix of other interesting mining projects too.
You can join this client and work with an experienced team of senior engineers where you would perform fieldwork, report writing with design and bulk earthworks construction monitoring when required.
To be put forward to the client, you will need to be a geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist with at least four years of experience working in Australia or New Zealand and have the appropriate work rights to work within Australia.
You should have experience with project management, organising and running fieldwork campaigns, and demonstrate your knowledge of working with clients and subcontractors, logging core, testing/ sample collection, lab scheduling, and completing and complying with OH&S documentation.
Experience with GeoStudio, Rocscience, MUK3D and AutoCAD is sort; however, some training will be given to successful applicants.
