Description:
Ground Recruitment is a Pty Ltd company established in July 2022. It exclusively provides highly specialised permanent recruitment services and high-performance coaching to geotechnical engineers, geologists and select clients across Australia and New Zealand.
This client is a privately owned consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia. They have a team of around 30 staff comprised primarily of engineering geologists and, to a lesser extent, geotechnical engineers.
They have an excellent reputation within the mining sector, working client-side with the larger mining houses on greenfield and brownfield projects, including haul roads, rail, bridges, NPI and mining infrastructure.
They are the go-to consultancy for engineering geological mapping and engineering geomorphology, along with desktop studies and the identification of geohazards.
To be considered for this role, you would require relevant experience working on client sites as an engineering geologist/geologist with established health and safety practices for projects that run for a considerable length of time and be able to pass medicals and drug and alcohol screening regularly.
This role is essential to building relationships with client reps and sub-consultants onsite, as many of your projects involving site investigations or construction support can be ongoing.
You will be required to write reports with engineering elements, so you will need to demonstrate that you not only have previous experience preparing factual reports but can also prepare an interpretive report to a reasonable standard for review.
