We are seeking an dynamic and eager Sheet Metal Fabricator Apprentice - for our manufacturing site in Mandurah, WA.

Role Description

You will be a part of a supportive team and become experienced in the following duties:

  • Welding and fabrication of various works
  • Aluminium, Stainless and Mild steel welding - Mig and Tig.
  • Bending and rolling
  • Interpret drawings and specifications
  • Fit and assembly of components into final products by welding, riveting, or otherwise joining
  • Performing QA checks
  • Polishes, files, sands, TIG Brush or cleans assembled products

Required Skills

  • Certificate I and II in Engineering or partially completed a Fabrication Apprenticeship
  • History of a similar role within a manufacturing / fabrication environment.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Own transport
  • Be a part of a team
  • Be motivated to learn and take pride in work

Preferred Skills

  • Certificate I and II in Engineering or partially completed a Fabrication Apprenticeship
