JOB SUMMARY

The team is dedicated to offering top-notch service through their knowledgeable sales staff, skilled programmers, proficient technicians, and experienced project engineers. They are currently seeking an Engineering Manager, specializing in electrical controls, to lead their projects from conception to commissioning, mainly within the municipal water and wastewater sectors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have: 10 years of experience in a project engineer role (or similar) including design, implementation, and project closeout.
- Must have: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 2-year Associates degree in a Automation related field. Preferred but not required.
- Must have: Experience with electrical CAD Software.
- Must have: Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of co-workers, management, and clients.
- Must have: Able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.
- Must have: Experience with project management, covering initial concept/proposal, design, implementation, and closeout.

Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Spearhead the creation of electrical schematics for control panels, motor control centers, power distribution panels, and assorted wiring diagrams.
- Material and Documentation Management: Compile a comprehensive Bill of Materials for each project and develop Control Narratives to outline the project’s intended functionality.
- Project Oversight: Ensure adherence to project plans and specifications, and manage all project documentation in line with company standards and specific project requirements.
- Customer and Team Collaboration: Act as the primary engineering liaison with customers throughout the project’s design and construction phases and support the control panel shop with design-related inquiries during the manufacturing process.
