Description:
FULL TIME | 36 MONTH FIXED TERM POSITION
The State Government of South Australia and the University of Adelaide have co-invested in an Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) to upskill South Australian workers in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application to the workplace; build new AI-enabled defence capabilities; support cost-effective adoption of Artificial Intelligence by South Australian government agencies; and directly support local South Australian businesses to develop new products based on Artificial Intelligence.
AIML are seeking an experienced manager to support the day-to-day activities of AIMLs growing Industry Solutions Team. This role will suit someone with a working knowledge of agile methodologies; AI engineering and have exceptional communication skills to articulate project goals and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
The AIML Industry Solutions team currently comprises of eight expert machine learning engineers who work in an agile environment to develop new machine learning algorithms, produce production code, analyse data, and deliver machine learning systems for industry partners.
