• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading and managing software engineering and testing functions.

• Mastery of modern software engineering and testing standards, methodologies, and tooling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration.
• Adept at identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with IT software engineering and testing.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this crucial role, you’ll play a pivotal role in our continued success by:

• Provide effective leadership and management for a diverse team of Engineers & Testers
• Define and enforce comprehensive development and testing standards and best practices to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Optimise and meticulously track engineering workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across projects and initiatives.
• Take charge of leading the technical components of various initiatives and projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with IT leaders to streamline technology maintenance, enhancements, and various delivery processes for maximum effectiveness.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with development and testing activities to minimise potential disruptions.
• Uphold operational excellence by focusing on systems reliability and performance, implementing measures to ensure continuous improvement.
