Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you’ll lead and manage a cross functional team driving the development of our products while ensuring continuous improvement in velocity and efficiency. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our technological roadmap and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to engineers, fostering their growth and skill development.
  • Product Ownership: Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business objectives, translate them into technical requirements, and drive the execution of the product roadmap. Take ownership of product delivery and quality, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Velocity Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in development processes and workflows. Implement strategies to increase team velocity, optimize development cycles, and improve overall productivity without compromising quality.
  • Resource Planning and Allocation: Work closely with senior management to define resource needs, allocate engineering resources effectively, and manage priorities in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across teams and departments, ensuring alignment and synchronization of efforts to achieve company goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Maintain a deep understanding of current technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Provide technical guidance, make informed decisions, and drive innovation within the engineering teams.
