As an Engineering Manager at CheckProof, you will be responsible for managing our talented team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. You will work closely to our Product Owner Jakob, and report directly to our CEO Håkan. In this role you are playing a crucial role in planning the future growth and development of our team. This position is ideal for someone who has a technical background and has transitioned into a management role, such as a former developer, product owner, or technical project manager. Key responsibilities include that you:

• Oversee a tech team of 20 members and manage personnel responsibilities, including conducting performance reviews and one-on-one meetings.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, ensuring they have clear goals and the support needed to achieve them.
• Collaborate with the dev committee to make strategic decisions and ensure the team has a clear direction and development plan.
• Identify and plan necessary training and courses to keep the team’s skills up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
• Regularly report team progress and performance.
