Tasks

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for providing a clear direction, leadership, and mentorship to a cross-functional squad of frontend, backend, and mobile developers, with a total of six direct reports and other attached functions, like QA engineers or UI/UX designers. Your mains tasks include:

  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to enhance your team’s performance while promoting a positive team culture and cohesion within the squad through team-building activities, recognition programs, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among team members, as well as with other departments or stakeholders, promoting a positive and respectful work environment
  • Acting as a primary point of contact providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the squad, ensuring alignment with business objectives and deadlines. Identify potential risks or obstacles to project success and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the squad, including process optimization, skills development, and adoption of new technologies or methodologies by staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and cross-training within the squad, fostering a culture of learning and development to enhance overall team capabilities.
