Description:
ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of software engineers specializing in leveraging natural language models and prompt engineering. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of services to leverage GenAI at Taulia. You will be leading the common services that handle prompt engineering, ensuring the responses by the LLMs are accurate, responsible, and reliable, and building the trust of our customers.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, preferably within a technology-driven company.
- Strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in prompt engineering methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with user data-driven improvement frameworks and technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
- Certification in project management or agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers for the delivery of AI technology and solutions to internal engineering teams, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of end-client solutions.
- Be an internal champion for AI use cases, offering a service that makes it easy for all products and teams to leverage AI in their applications
- Drive the development and delivery of prompt engineering solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Leverage industry-leading tactics to measure the effectiveness of AI products and iterate prompts and architecture for improvements based on customer feedback and data analysis.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI technology, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain Taulia’s competitive edge.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Work closely with customers to understand their prompt engineering needs, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into future product iterations.
